The Barn Owl

two - the spotted owlet and the owl - having become city residents.
The barn owl is the larger of our city owls and one
of world's best-known birds. it is about the size of house
crow, largely buffy - yellow and white with an unmistakable
face dominated by a heart shaped very monkey-like facial disc.
It is quite widespread in the city and suburbs and has several
nesting sites. It breeds between October and March.
Right now , it is the peak nesting time of this bird. Every
year there are several reports of injured or young birds landing
inside homes and offices or found abandoned
